Issue with upload?

Hi,
Is it possible that my account (user_Id : 787906389843219) will be block or something like that because I have test to upload video file (goPro MAX like habits since 2 years but nothing appeard to map since 17 october), I try tu uploaded a new file (7go of video with mapillary uplader.exe) and nothing appeard to website (yellow), and same thing 3 others weeks.

Hey Yann, thanks for contributing. Your uploads are safe. The reason you can’t see them is because the web lists uploads by capture times, instead of upload times. One of the videos you uploaded on 2025-11-03, for example, was actually captured on 2016

That’s true for image files, however it is a bit more complicated for video files, especially GoPro videos that come with a GPMF stream. Some GoPros record GPS clock signal data into GPMF, which is equivalent to GPSDateStamp/GPSTimeStamp and the best and easiest option to deal with. Others, just record (local) timecode data. If a video file lacks timecode data and GPMF then (if I am not mistaken) mapillary_tools falls back to the moov atom’s creation_time tag. Unfortunately, GoPros without timezone support write local time into creation_time, which actually expects a UTC timestamp. So, you are left with having to double check everything.

You cannot change timestamps after upload. You have to have everything ready before upload. If you want to fix your sequences then you have to do it locally first and then upload again. You can use the process command’s ‑‑offset_time option to sort of fix video timestamps before upload. Note that mapillary_tools will not actually modify video files, it will just transmit offset timestamp metadata on upload.
