Ah, I was wondering why some apps (not Mapilllary though) seemed to have had a significant accuracy loss with GNSS, seems like location kit is to blame
I´m new to ios, but since i was having troubles with tracking in any app and mapillary on my new iphone 16e, i read about it and the point is: all other activity types (Auto, navigation, fitness, flight) do “stick to road” and the tracks become strangely jumping at raod crossings and if other roads are nearby, really unusable. So, mapillary does it right now to have the activity settings “other navigation” which is the only activity type where the location is recorded whithout this “stick to road” feature. But: if any other app requests location data and the other app does not have location activity “other navigation” set, all running apps (so, mapillary as well) will get the “stick-to-road” location data. That means, make sure to have no other app with location access running to get the best results!
