Discourse email notifications can't be clicked with new browsers

The notification emails from this discourse installation are containing links which can’t be opened with recent browsers due to the strict HTTPS requirement. It works until Firefox 73.0, but 75.0a1 will reject opening the links with a reference to a page explaining the issue.
