[bugreport] Residential roads not shown on the map

In the mobile app, residential roads have disappeared from the map.
This makes image collecting in the field much more difficult in some cases.

App version: 5.3.1.0.0.
Area: OpenStreetMap .

There was a similar bug a couple of years ago, but with living_street: [bugreport] Map missing way too many objects .

Use the OSM overlay the app. The mapillary default map has a quite outdated database in many regions.

Thanks, in this case it’s not just outdated data, but residentials completely gone - definitely something worth fixing in the default background map :slight_smile:

It didn’t make it for this release as I wanted to make a more elegant and better solution. That means that map resource URLs will now be auto-updated at app launch and not just statically stored with app. Hopefully out in a week or so.
