The app has remained stable, and we have promoted it to release. Everything mentioned here is already on our task list. Specifically, we would like to avoid copying images and address the issue of importing too many images, which is not straightforward. Similarly, regarding access to developer settings, the task is there and hopefully it will be less glitchy next release.
I am happy, I saw “Import” on the screen. It saves me some hours, the time to forget where exactly the thing is I was mapping. I suppose tfm is not up to date.
Love the import feature! Got a s24 for xmas and also have the 0.6x (dont know if had another UI before), uploaded a dozen of images by the import thing. Never joined the beta i Just receive the update tho
Hi @Lowiekse , we are looking into the mentioned “Upload Failed” issue. To gather a bit more information, I’d like to ask if you have encountered this problem before, or if you remember when it first started occurring. And how often does it happen? In general any additional details would be much appreciated.

@Lowiekse do you, by any chance, remember how many separate sequences you were trying to upload? And how many images? If you remember anything, approximately, of course. Thanks in advance
Oh no, sorry. I think I’ve discovered the reason for this - I honestly disabled that because of your report, but it was added back by another engineer, and I didn’t notice (and the person didn’t know why I did remove them I gues). It’s still strange you have those, but I’ll just remove them from the app entirely. In any case, I will remove them again and will write many comments on why we don’t need them in the current implementation. I will include those changes in the next release.
I think all of them are very testing-oriented, like saving multiple images instead of one (even though they are the same image), etc. We use it for testing purposes: memory profiling, storage, etc. At the same time, if you are missing some features, please share and we will consider adding them.
Or is it already gone? Because I’m not going to use an app that has analytics enabled from the moment I first launch it. And the fact that you can only disable it after logging in and going to settings is not enough for me.
Hi, having some weird issues with uploading, I made a screen recording and uploaded here. It’s a little hard to explain in text but I hope it’s useful. I’m on Wi-Fi so I’m not sure why it sometimes has the “"Waiting for Wi-Fi” status on the pictures.
@czecko - Analytics in the mapillary app are anonymous (we don’t track who is logged in, only anonymous/aggregated usage so we can understand things like how much different features are used to focus on improving the things people are using most, etc).
If you would like to ensure no analytics are tracked, I would recommend an app like https://trackercontrol.org/ which you can use while logging in to Mapillary and going to settings to disable the anonymous analytics.
