Can you let us know where the problem is happening? We test the social media preview with tools like https://metatags.io/ and https://www.heymeta.com/url/www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=187139860570758 and it looks like it gets the right image there. The process might be different on other sites.

You can simply append the &focus=photo parameter to the URL.
That would be extra work.
And as you know, people like to change my URLs.
I grab the URL from the location bar for sharing. It’s somewhat longish, but seems to be the only way to link to a particular part of a 360° image.
Have the OSM idiots not yet changed it into the official mapillary key ?
