the app might not support all rotations - have you tried rotating to the other side, or with rotation lock?
I would like to take pictures not only in a straight and straight-left direction, but also straight-right, for this I need to turn the phone so that the mount does not fall into the lens
I am having same issue. I checked on the phone and the phone has the correct orientation prior to the photos being uploaded to the Mapillary servers.
I started seeing this issue around June 19, 2016.
