Current Processing delay [Solved]

One sequence lost in translation although more recent sequences have been processed:

Now, message disappear one or two days ago. I don’t know which sequence it was so it is difficult to check if it is now available. I need to review all my recent sequences.

BTW, I also asked to remove sequences with bad geolocalisation. I asked for removal more than 2 weeks ago:

My last upload was in fact 2024-07-07 but would have completed around 0800z. Worked fine and was quite fast.

There was some improvement, but now it seems to be stuck again. No images since 2024-07-13, only few from 2024-07-12.

Thanks - yeah, I see that we have a large backlog of images that need to be processed.

Sorry for the delay - we are on top of it though.

Processing is not necessarily first in first out, and if processing fails, it takes some time for retries to go through.

Hope this explanation makes sense - let me know if you notice anything else that’s concerning.

Our upload was on 7/11 and we haven’t seen the map update to show the linework as yet. Is this timeline normal?

Thanks for your message. No it’s not normal - we’re working on fixing it.

The comments above were issues with Map Data Processing, which precedes Map Update step.

Although a slight difference, I understand that from users’ point of view it’s all ‘processing issues’.

We’re working on fixing it as soon as possible and I’ll add a message to this forum once we do.

One more thing, for sequences that made it to “Map Update” i can’t seem to ‘play’ the sequence, buttons are disabled there:

Delay in map update

Hi, Just wanted to inform you that we’re currently having issues with updating the map with sequences that have been uploaded since 12th of July. You should see sequences ‘stuck’ on ‘Map Update’ processing step. We’re working on fixing the issue and I’ll add a status update as soon as I have more information available. No action will need to be taken from the user side for the sequences to be processed. Apologies for the inconvenience that this might cause. Sincerely yours, Balys

My upload was on 09th of July, the photos are uploaded successfully and the sequence is good. The problem is that points and traffic signs map data are not visible when selected on Mapillary web explorer, knowing that Mapillary’s computer vision technology has successfully detected objects (see next picture).

There was some improvement but I fear that starting with 2024-07-20 there’s a new processing issue.

There are problems again, this time only with API requests. I don’t see new data anymore, for 2025-08-28 and newer.
