We’ve released a new version of our Android app, and I recommend updating the app, as it resolves a frustrating issue that caused crashes for some users.

This update primarily focuses on enhancing the maps UI and improving the app’s stability.
While the map updates are not extensive, they are significant, involving the map library and its elements:
- Changes to the map attribution.
- Labels now appear correctly atop Mapillary layers for Esri styles.
- A new map layer, “Esri Satellite,” has been added to the list of available map styles.
The issues addressed were related to the processing of map layers, specifically the concurrent handling of map UI layers, which occasionally led to crashes within the first 5 seconds of app startup.
