What’s a good remote control for a GoPro Max/Hero Black?

I am looking for a reliable tool to start/stop video recording on my GoPro Max without having to look at it as I am doing right now with the Quik Android app.

Ideally, the remote should be have a led indicating whether the camera is recording or not and as a bonus, should be usable simultaneously with more than one GoPro camera.

I don’t need a screen or any particular water resistance.

Right now, I am uncertain between the waterproof shutter remote by GoPro and some generic remote control on Aliexpress (which should be way cheaper).

Does anyone has any real-life experience/ advice?

I use a GoPro The Remote with my Max and Hero10, seems to work ok but it can be a pain to connect sometimes when using both cameras at once.

Previously I used an older GoPro Smart Remote with the Max and a Hero 5 but that didn’t work with the Hero10.
