Hello, there.

I tried to upload images (lots of them) with mapillary_tool, but a.mapillary.com does not seem available:

A separate test from an online utility gave me the same result, and my connection is otherwise functional. Did someone unplug the server?

Confirmed, here it does not work either.

Be wary using ping to check websites. Many have ICMP blocked. Try telnet on port 80 or 443.

But you used IPv6. The server may be unavailable in IPv4 but OK in IPv6.

Besides, I still cannot upload:

A ping from here to 34.250.52.220 fails

From memory broken pipe means closed socket at the peer end. Sorry not much help.
