I tried to upload images (lots of them) with mapillary_tool, but a.mapillary.com does not seem available: $ ping a.mapillary.com PING external-2146820777.eu-west-1.elb.amazonaws.com (34.250.52.220): 56 data bytes Request timeout for icmp_seq 0 Request timeout for icmp_seq 1 Request timeout for icmp_seq 2 Request timeout for icmp_seq 3 ^XRequest timeout for icmp_seq 4 Request timeout for icmp_seq 5 ^C --- external-2146820777.eu-west-1.elb.amazonaws.com ping statistics --- 7 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100.0% packet loss
A separate test from an online utility gave me the same result, and my connection is otherwise functional. Did someone unplug the server?
But you used IPv6. The server may be unavailable in IPv4 but OK in IPv6.
Besides, I still cannot upload: HTTP error: ('Connection aborted.', error(32, 'Broken pipe')) on 2020_09_07_11_01_39_451_+0200.jpg, will attempt upload again for 49 more times HTTP error: ('Connection aborted.', error(32, 'Broken pipe')) on 2020_09_07_11_01_37_302_+0200.jpg, will attempt upload again for 49 more times HTTP error: ('Connection aborted.', error(32, 'Broken pipe')) on 2020_09_07_11_01_35_343_+0200.jpg, will attempt upload again for 49 more times HTTP error: ('Connection aborted.', error(32, 'Broken pipe')) on 2020_09_07_11_01_38_429_+0200.jpg, will attempt upload again for 49 more times HTTP error: ('Connection aborted.', error(32, 'Broken pipe')) on 2020_09_07_11_01_36_336_+0200.jpg, will attempt upload again for 49 more times
