Hi everyone,

My name is Lorenzo and I am a civil engineer working in video surveys of roads and highways. My company and I are considering purchasing an Insta360 X5 to carry out Street View–style road surveys.

I would like to ask anyone who owns this 360° camera if they would be willing to share an .insv file that includes GPS data, so that I can test how to extract the GPX file from the .insv file and use it within our systems to calculate the traveled distance, link it to the video, and then generate georeferenced JPG files.

HI, I’m out this weekend so I reply now. I’ve seen the example, ok so you please send me the ins file of the acquisition of SP432 at Marinella di Sarzana? What speed do you collect the video?

Hi @reptec, I also got video that are not uploaded to mapillary, but if you want it that type sure, I need to find it,

I will update you with the speed I collected the video.

I’m back @reptec,

From the .gpx I used, I had to use also OpenStreetMap data because the GPS drifted so much.

Since you didn’t want to work with .gpx, I think maybe the .insv is the only chance to have the GPS that “drifted”.

P.S: let me know what you are doing with my file, please do not upload it in your team / your account, since I did the recording.

Oh right, the speeding part;
I can’t show it cause.. 500 kmh on the modified gpx can’t be real.
