Please add OpenSearch support to the web app. The lack of OpenSearch support is like a sore spot on the otherwise advanced website. Maybe you could combine address, coordinate (including multiple notations, like decimal, sexagesimal, and normalized), leaderboard, user name/id, org name/id, image key, traffic sign, and point feature search into one query endpoint? So that you could have text queries like Greenwich yield traffic signs
, new york leader
, 50° 12' 23" 13° 45' 59"
, 50.206388889 13.766388889
, or +0.557848765 +0.076479938
, etc.
cc: @nikola to chime in. BTW we do already support lat/long search on the web app, but you have to add a comma between the coordinates, so “50.206388889, 13.766388889”
@nikola - for some quick wins, could we add support without a comma and for the 2 other lat/long formats @GITNE mentioned?

Nice catch about the comma.
Just to clarify things in simple words, what I am looking for is to be able to add the Mapillary web app as a search engine in the browser. Some GIS tools could also benefit from this. I am less focused on any specific text format. These were just examples to make the search function as rich and flexible as possible.
