No overlap when turning.
Settings - Compass threshold : 10 degrees.
I hoped the problem would be solved with my Samsung S9+, but it is not.
Or should I try 0 degrees ?
Since it works perfectly well for you a few meters further on, I would say there are other reasons for the missing overlap photos. Maybe you lost GPS signal there, or the writing buffer of your SD card was full.
Overlap and other functions relying on image comparison (eg time travel) are generally very sensitive (or dare I say, spotty). Sometimes you get overlap added as the images get processed later
