For me, it is interesting how people contribute and what camera models are used. It looks like smartphones and action cams are used quite often. It would be interesting to see, how many different camera models were ever used for Mapillary. Maybe those statistics exist

What was the most weird camera model you found?
My first Mapillary captures were done with a Logitech C500 USB webcam. (2016) The resolution was 1280x1024 pixels and was connected to the laptop on the vehicle front seat. The GPS device was connected to the same laptop. The actual camera was silicon rubber mounted on the inside of the windscreen and had a foil appendage to reduce glare and reflections. There was also a black cloth cover on the dashtop and flat black cardboard on the side pillars.
I currently use 2 old Samsung phones, a Blackvue dashcam and a noname rear facing dashcam.
