Yesterday I used my old Hero7 again.
Contrary to the Hero11, it does not tell when it previously was stopped by lack of power.
So I was back in the year 2016 again.
I used Exifdatechanger but I seem not to know any more what the correct options are.
I already asked deletion of the gibberish sequences.

Does anyone know the correct options in the free version ?
I guess I will have to accept the wrong times.
For the so maniest time Exif date changer saved my day.
Having consciencious problems I finally paid them 15 euro.
I am happy it works for you but you can modify all kinds of Exif tags, including timestamps, with libertarian and free of charge tools, like
Personally, I prefer Exiv2 because in contrast to the widely more popular ExifTool it does not depend on the overly massive Perl and other slew of dependencies. It is a simple small but powerful binary. Imho it is basically the 
army knife of image metadata manipulation. However, all the tools above are CLI only.
My days of CLI are gone. I am a defender of the simple people.
