Availability of Gopro accessories

Yesterday I broke a buckle. One should always carry a spare. Or use tape

But these things are not kept in the shops any more. The minimum waiting time in Belgium is three weeks. So be sure you have enough spare.

Now I use my last one. I will lubricate the mount and be careful.

Was it due to material fatigue or did you hit anything?

Yeah, supply chain gaps are really pesky and a welcome business opportunity for :money_mouth_face: scalpers. :slightly_frowning_face: I am currently waiting for the official MAX2 hard case to become available again in “my neck of the woods”. Sure, I can buy one now for three :money_bag::money_bag::money_bag: times the MSRP. But, I am certainly not going to give in to scalpers and nobody else should either even if they have the money to do so.

I am rough rider. Maybe I am not a good finger pincher.

But these things break every year or two.

RAM mounts do not, but they do not compare.

Here a birds eye view of my appareil.

Thank you for the reminder.

Sometimes all one needs is a zip tie.

If you come visit us in Taiwan, our Gopro stores are all fairly well stocked, and also we have a lot of decent off-brand but compatible equipment in the electronics district. I believe Japan also has good selections in shops like Yodobashi camera. Excuse for a vacation… and to do more mapping

 Yeah right, this makes total economic sense. Thanks to the “orange man” trade ships now have to take a “tine-tiny” detour around Cape of Good Hope because the Bab‑el‑Mandeb Strait is no longer safe either. :ship:
