I want to get a dashcam and would be good if I can upload footage to Mapillary, but I’m not sure how to tell if the dashcam will produce compatible output:
Does anyone know more about this (video format details etc) or have any recommendations for compatible dashcams?
Do you know what the format of the video is that it produces? Mp4?
If you run a Linux or Mac system, doesn’t matter what format the output is, I transfer my videos to the computer and draw out frames with MPlayer, and alter timestamps and geotag with Mapillary python tools. Works so great I have made scripts to fully automate the process.
I don’t know how to solve this in a Windows environment
