My first Gopro video of the day had too erratic GPX for the desktop uploader. Is suppose that concerned the first pictures.
Is there a way to extract the pictures ?
Using mapillary_tools? Yes the function/command is sample_video. It will create individual jpg’s that have the date/timestamp in the EXIF only. If the idea was to then eventually geo-encode using an alternate GPS file, then upload, this is also possible.
ffmpeg can also just extract photo frames from a movie. In fact mapillary_tools uses this for that function. I assume it will handle Gopro files but not checked.
I prefer something not command-line.
