This is your opportunity to update OSM with verified survey data. 
Just beware that many private roads allow delivery vehicles! Hence, access=private only may often be not good enough. Consider also vehicle=delivery for post and parcel services.

Hi! I also vote for CarPlay mode, as I use car for mapping (but with 360 camera, not phone). But also in iOS I noticed that map dont change position during turns, so every time i need to take a turn, I must look and think which side is left or right 
Maybe you can consider button that can switch between “Up is North” and “UP is moving direction”? And maybe a bit dreamy, but also a trace recording functionality, to not make the same street twice?

This update looks great, but I have this suggestion since some time ago. While viewing the profile of other users, the sequences captured by the user is in light purple, which looks very close to the blue colour lines captured by yourself. I hope the colour could be changed, or even a customizable colour.
Also I found a bug when the map layer is switched to Best Captures or Captures Needed, if you are viewing a user’s profile, both the sequences captured by yourself and that user are coloured blue.

An additional thought, not knowing if it has already been covered.
When one uploads large numbers of captures the GUI can be a useful tool looking for and repairing any errors, not just providing for missing or dated information. A lot of this happens already, to the point where I now have a greater interest in reviewing my older data. Possibly a poll needs to be taken to figure what features need work.
For me personally I’d like it to be easier to find GPS tracks that have gone wrong, most of these being visible as obvious track deviations at highish zoom factors. It would seem that then “Captures” sub menu could do with a “possible errors” button that shows what region to zoom to.
Prompted by “I am sure I saw a bad track, but was busy doing something else at the time. Now I can’t find it again”. Being able to single button copy/paste/bookmark a Mapillary map URL might be helpful too, possibly appended direct to a file (eg Downloads/MapillaryURLs.txt)

Is there a way to export these “captures needed” in a GPX format? This would make it more easy to plan for capturing the missing roads, as it could be integrated into many offline map applications (well, at least to OsmAnd) that support GPX imports.

Would it be possible to have an option to crop the image when capturing? This would be very handy in terms of avoiding unnecessary information in the image like bonnet, dash reflection or part of a suction cup mount.
In my car the hood takes up around 35-40% of the image if I line up the horizon in the middle of the view.
If I point the camera so I avoid it then the camera is aimed very high and that much sky (and light) often messes with the exposure.

We have that already actually, you can toggle the compass mode by tapping on the compass button in the camera map.
We are actually currently working on that. You will also be able to export the traces as GPX.

It isn’t visible on the map at all for other people.
Yes, you can just pinch-to-zoom in the camera view to frame it so there is less hood. Having said that, a wider FOV is usually preferred.
Do you have a link to that capture? Is it the same if you switch layer to “All captures”?

What zoom level are you using? If you use .5 zoom (extra wide lense) it captures more of the hood/actual car. Also, is your mount as high as it can be on the windshield?

The capture was classified as a capture from a car (not the first time this happens for your captures as I see). Then the algorithm can not always match you to roads and hence the sequence gets a score slightly lower than needed to qualify to “best captures” view. I will re-classify it manually now. In this case it will appear in coverage (for this sequence) by the end of the month at latest. Thanks for the report. Classifier for bicycle (the hardest one to be precise) is something we’re looking at the ways to improve; it’s just a cumbersome process.

When capturing in app yes. But if I use map only to know where to go, I really miss this function.

These aren’t visible to others either. I take lots of 360° photos whilst cycling or walking. It’s a shame that many of them aren’t visible to others. I hope the Mapillary team can find a solution to this. Perhaps a tick box in the desktop uploader where you can specify what type of vehicle the photos were taken from?

Maybe one question upfront: do you have vehicle captures at 360, or only pedestrian and cycling? This would enable automatic reclassification in this case (because we know that it wasn’t a car). Or maybe you know a time range where you had only bicycle/pedestrian captures?
Regarding manual specification, that might be, but this feature will require careful design, so if selected, it will take some time.
We are working on it and considering options to improve the experience. Thank you for your captures, explanations, and examples.
PS (Updated) all 3 were classified as cars, updated all of them just now.

360° shots are always taken on foot or by bike. All sequences in which my dog and my wife appear are taken on foot. This is because my dog can’t ride a bike. 
I don’t yet have the equipment to take 360° shots from a car.
