Is image quality degradation to be expected?

I’ve just recently began uploading.360 videos from a GoPro Max2 using recommended settings for Mapillary and recording at 8k 30fps mounted about 30” above my truck’s camper cover. I’ve only uploaded about 5 miles so far, but most have been recorded at about 12-15 mph. This is for documentation of active subdivision developments - we are a surveying and engineering firm in the US.

Although not too significant, I have noticed a degradation in image quality from the raw videos. I’m assuming this is just due to compression done during processing. I just want to make sure there isn’t anything else I should or could be doing to avoid this.

Yes, that sounds right, but if you see any significant differences, please post the link to the Mapillary capture and the original recording file and we can take a quick look.
