I did a great capture today, but it started raining lightly for a few minutes. Everything is in focus and well lit, but there are some spots of rain on my windscreen. Is that little bit of rain going to matter during Mapillary’s image processing?
It’s not great, but not a reason to delete your uploads. In general we encourage capturing in dry, well-lit conditions.

A few small raindrops usually seem fine as long as road signs, lane markings, and surroundings are still clearly visible. I’ve uploaded sets with light drizzle before and the processing/results were still pretty decent overall.

When it starts to rain, I capture untill the next intersection and hope it is still acceptable untill then.

Yes, Mapillary’s processing seems to handle it quite well. I’m pretty happy with how this capture turned out. I made sure to delete the worst images before upload, such as those where my windscreen wipers were visible.
