# Samsung 8 + Android 9 version 5.0.7

yesterday the new version of mappilary was installed on my phone in which android 9 is installed. With the latest update 5.0.7 I found that after starting the application and then the camera freezes everything and the application closes, I hope it will be solved as soon as possible. Thank you

I’m also seeing Mapillary 5.0.7 immediately crash when I start the app and select Capture, however as a work around if I first select Upload and then select Capture it appears stable. Phone is a Nokia 7 Plus running Android 10

thanks for the information. i tried now on my samsung 8 and this step seems to work
