Guys, I need **practical ways to apply a nadir to already captured 360º photos**. Why isn’t there a dedicated area to upload a nadir together with the images?

All the best!

Hi there @**[asturksever](https://forum.mapillary.com/u/asturksever)**!
I had already come across this, but I think it’s too complex a process, with too many steps.

You can use my program, it has nadir support, but it’s made for 360 video’s of GoPro Max versions (and sampling of the 360 video). I don’t know if it’s suitable for your case.

> GoPro Workflow is a program for converting/editing 360 video files from the GoPro Max 1 and 2 so they can be used in StreetView Studio. The program can also upload these videos to Mapillary, allowing manual adjustments to some settings not available in the standard Mapillary app.

cc @asturksever

I haven’t got a suggestion for Ricoh Theta Z1 nadir patching from my own experience, as my past Labpano cameras took care of that.

That Trekview Nadir Patcher may be your best solution after all.

I’m deliberately avoiding such an annoying cover; I’m on the road in my car most of the time, and the nadir needed to cover the entire car roof would have to be uncomfortably large. I could only accept a complete reconstruction of the floor, like gsv does. Therefore, thank you for any offer to retrofit a nadir; I don’t want to do that.

I created a tool for GSV-style reconstruction. It’s not very user friendly and the documentation is lacking but if anyone does have an interest, I can work on improving the usability.

Interesting… I’ll try it. It wouldn’t cost the Mapillary coders anything to add the option to append a nadir to uploads. Just a suggestion.
